Made for the GMTK Game Jam 2026 with the theme: "Count Down"
Important:
- The shop was a last minute addition and has one big bug. The game moves on from the shop automatically after a few seconds, even if the player hasn't done anytning. You can still buy items, but you have to do it quickly enough.
How to play:
There is X cards on the table. Each card has a number on it. In total, every number 1-X is present on the table. The card with the biggest number is uncovered automatically, but the rest stays backside - up. The dealer shows a few cards to you randomly. And then explains the rules, according to which the cards have been set up.
Your goal is to uncover all numbers on the table, but it has to be done in a descending order. Make a mistake and you loose health!
Use the revealed cards and the rules to deduce where the next card is. Sometimes however, taking a risk is inevitable.
Every couple of turns you have a chance to visit the shop.
Shop items:
Heart card - gain additional health.
Coin card - permanent upgrade, uncoveres one more random card at the beginning of every turn.
